🗺️ Thursday Evening | The Weekend Compass

October 23–25, 2026

A Little Fall Fun Around the Treasure Coast

The weekend is coming, and apparently the Treasure Coast has decided we’re going to celebrate fall whether Florida intends to cooperate with the temperature or not.

Pumpkins.

Farm markets.

Costumes.

Car shows.

Live music.

And the possibility of sweating through your fall outfit before you’ve finished your first pumpkin-flavored beverage.

Welcome to October in Florida.

😂

But goodness, there are some fun things happening this weekend!

So gather the family, grab your favorite wandering partner, or take yourself on a little adventure.

Here’s what’s on the Compass.

🎃 Friday, October 23

LYNQ Trunk or Treat — Port St. Lucie

5:00–9:00 PM | FREE

Clover Park, 31 Piazza Drive, Port St. Lucie

A big family-friendly Halloween evening with decorated trunks, treats, costumes, and community fun.

Bring the kiddos and something to carry all that candy.

Because apparently a pillowcase is still a perfectly respectable Halloween accessory.

Tunnel of Terror & Trunk or Treat — Fort Pierce

6:00–9:00 PM | FREE

Havert L. Fenn Center, 2000 Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce

St. Lucie County Parks & Recreation is hosting a free Halloween evening with trunk-or-treating and a spooky walk-through experience.

No registration required.

Check with the organizer about which activities are appropriate for younger children.

🍂 Saturday, October 24

Hobgoblins on Main Street — Downtown Stuart

12:00–3:00 PM | FREE

Historic Downtown Stuart, around the Riverwalk Stage

The 27th annual celebration brings safe trick-or-treating, costumes, a parade, children’s activities, and plenty of downtown fun.

And honestly, little people in costumes are worth the trip all by themselves.

Indian River Lagoon Science Festival — Fort Pierce

10:00 AM–3:00 PM | FREE

Museum Pointe Park, 414 Seaway Drive, Fort Pierce

Hands-on science, wildlife, marine discoveries, interactive activities, and plenty for curious minds of all ages.

A wonderful outing for the grands.

And for the grown-ups who still enjoy learning something new.

Downtown Fort Pierce Farmers Market

8:00 AM–1:00 PM | Waterfront at Marina Square

Produce, plants, handmade goods, spices, local vendors, and waterfront wandering.

Bring your market bag.

You know you’re going to find something.

Hobe Sound Farmers Market

9:00 AM–2:00 PM | 1425 SE Bridge Road, Hobe Sound

Local makers, farm-fresh offerings, plants, and farm activities.

One of those outings where you can shop a little, wander a little, and remember how much good stuff is happening right here at home.

Hamilton Farms Fall Festival — Fort Pierce

10:00 AM–4:00 PM | 1500 N. Header Canal Road

Pumpkins, farm fun, and fall festivities at Hamilton Farms U-Pick.

Check the farm’s current event information for admission and activity prices.

Fall-O-Ween at Tradition Square — Port St. Lucie

1:00–7:00 PM | FREE admission

Local vendors, trick-or-treating, costumes, photo opportunities, and family activities.

A little shopping, a little Halloween, and another opportunity to support our local makers.

🌻 Sunday, October 25

Market on Main — Downtown Stuart

9:00 AM–2:00 PM | Flagler Park

Local farmers, artisans, handmade goods, food, and that beautiful downtown waterfront.

This is the kind of Sunday morning wandering I wholeheartedly approve of.

Rock’n Riverwalk — Downtown Stuart

1:00–4:00 PM | FREE

Riverwalk Stage

Live waterfront music featuring The Real Deal.

Grab a chair, find a shady spot, and enjoy a little music along the river.

Hobe Sound Farmers Market

9:00 AM–2:00 PM | 1425 SE Bridge Road

If Saturday got away from you, there’s another chance to visit the market and enjoy the farm.

Hamilton Farms Fall Festival — Fort Pierce

10:00 AM–4:00 PM

Another day of fall festivities. Confirm current admission and activity details before heading out.

🚗 A Little Extra for the Car Lovers

Mazda Miata Meet Up & Car Show — Fort Pierce

Saturday, October 24 | Noon–3:00 PM

Summer Crush Vineyard & Winery, 4200 Johnston Road

A gathering of Mazda Miatas, a car show, and live music from The Riptide Band.

Paid admission: Currently advertised at $6.50 in advance or $10.50 at the door, before applicable taxes and fees. Prices may change.

Because you know I wasn’t putting together a Weekend Compass without looking for something with wheels.

😂

🧭 Compass Note

You don’t have to do everything.

Pick one thing that sounds fun.

Take somebody you love.

Support somebody local.

Talk to a farmer.

Meet a maker.

Listen to some music.

And if you happen to come home with a pumpkin, a handmade treasure, or a good story, I’d say the weekend was a success.

Notice More. Love Well. Gather Often.
